be strong in the grace...
It has dawned upon me that I hv to kp to the assignment God has given me. The word of God has made me restless. Since the day my dad spoke to me, the Lord in his own manner has shown me his truth and has burdened my heart to teach those wat i hv learned so that they may teach others(2tim 2:2). And to be convicted and not just believe that the Lord is with me in my life. In one book alone the Lord has shown me that this ought to be passed on. Ought to be taught. ANd i ask how? And I know that the Lord will show me how. By his grace He will supply all my needs.
one misconception we always make in our lives is this, we tend to dedicate ourselves, make our valiant decisions to serve the Lord. The I want to do this, I want to be a soldier for the Lord, a prayer warrior! BUt what happens when u fall? What happens when u run out of strength? The strength u draw frm urself? The very strength u drew to make ur dedication to the Lord. Will u still persevere? Will u still carry on?
The qn u hv to ask who do u draw ur strength frm? Who's resources do you tap into?
As much as we need the dedication, how much do u rely on God's grace DAILY its a balance...some need dedication, some need grace but for everyone we need both. IN every word u say in everythin u do, do u ask for his grace? Do u wait on the Lord?
THe Lord has assured me that He wants me to see Him daily. TO think upon him daily. To get lost in HIs love! ANd in response to be a channel of blessing rather than a reservoir of knowledge that we all know but hv never lived...
That's why we ought to strengthen ourselves in GOd's grace, look forward to the rewards that is waiting for us and to be solid in the word. Not just hearers but doers. Only in doing and practicing and letting the word master us- not just memorising scripture will we feel the realness of God.
